The computational plant science lab searches for an energetic and creative computational plant scientist.
The applicant will lead the development of the next generation phenotyping platform PLANT IT as part of an international team within the arpa-e Deeper project ( Project Tweets ). The applicant will work on improving the new web-frontend, the workflow management of job submissions and the deployment onto the Cyverse cyber-infrastructure to enable high-throughput computation for plant researchers world-wide. The position will offer excellent trainings opportunities at the interface of plant biology and computer science as well as networking and collaboration opportunities to establish their own research line.
