Ph.D. Student

“Will” is a current graduate student investigating the impact of root-root interactions on driving root architectural phenotypes. He received a BS in Botany at San Francisco State University and an MS in Environmental Biology at Mahidol University in Thailand. In the lab he uses his experience in ecology and large field agriculture combined with the computational specialties in the Bucksch Lab to find practical solutions to questions like, “How can we study root-root interactions?”. Will aims to continue developing as scientist through his PhD program and to continue to a meaningful career in the sciences post-graduation.
